I have worked within education, the charity sector, adults with learning disabilities, I am also able to deliver conflict resolution and group facilitation work.
I have volunteered for the charity SHYPP, supporting young homeless people and carers support in Hereford. I worked for CLD as a peer support co-ordinator and have a lot of experience of working with young people and the challenges both at home and school. I have experience of living away as an armed forces family and the complexities and challenges that the life-style change can bring.
Previously I have worked as a Wellbeing (Mental Health) Advisor, within a Occupational Health team for a large county council. This was a varied role including counselling within the workplace, support for schools, head teachers and staff working within schools facing the challenges that the workplace can bring. As well as developing and delivering mental health awareness support and mental health training for employees within the council.
